    I hope a new flexi-shaft is all I need. Sorry they are posting sideways.

    Wow that looks like it went trough a fire. wondering what the front of the motor looks like. The spindle bearings may also taken a hit, with the temps you seemed to have developed. The retainer (spindle top hat) should also be looked at. It is a spring and springs do not like heat.

    I will definitely look at that. and the motor. I haven't taken it all apart yet. Thank-you for your help.
