    Default Posting a pattern

In order to post a pattern asking for help which format do I post PTN, MPG, MPJ? Assuming I can figure out how to post it. Jiml

If you just want us to look at it, I think the easiest thing to do is post the pattern in a project file (.mpc)

If you want someone to be able to edit it, post in the MPW format. That format by-passes the copy protection.

    Michael,

In the manage file extensions it doesn't give MPW as a valid file extension even though I have that file. How do I get the file from the folder to post here? jiml

In pattern editor export it out as an image. That is the work around for not being able to upload the MPW format.

Is there a place with the step by step procedure to post the file. I keep getting run in circles and I'm missing the turn off somewhere. jiml

Do not save it as an image. Post the MPW as-is.

    Two ways to do this...

    1) change the MPW file extension to txt (or whatever other acceptable file format the forum allows). We can then rename after download

    2) Zip the MPW. It will then automatically have the zip extension and can be uploaded to the forum
