    Default 2nd machine

I have a Craftsman/Carvewright machine prox 10-12 years old. I just purchased a new one from Carvewright and am wondering if I can use my scanning probe and patterns etc. on the new one? I need to get it up and running rather quickly. Thanks.

I believe once you register the machine to your account and get a unlock code for the new machine all software from your first machine including the probe should work.

So the old probe's had a different connector to plug into the Truck. This is the cable that converts the plug to now let you plug the probe into the side of the inside cover.

Since the probe software does not transfer if someone sells the machine you will likely find a cheap newer probe if you post a wanted post. They are very cheap since you need to either already have the probe and software or purchase it new with the software. I know you already own the software and a old probe. I wanted to mention this if you wanted a newer probe.

So once you register and unlock the machine you can use all your old patterns and projects on both machines.

Photos are from 2007. You MAY already have the proper connector and may not need the jumper...
