Is there someone smarter than me on patterns that can change this to a useable pattern.

I have a 50 year Marine reunion coming up and want to honor our Navy Corpsman who were so outstanding in Vietnam.

    Thanks so much guys.

Here is a version. Its my interpretation since I built it in 3d.

The caduceus symbol is not mine. It was a shared pattern on the forum and is online as a 3d model.

The graphic Dan loaded is really clean. Maybe one the of 2d wizards can play with it. The pattern results look different than when built as 3d models. Depending on the usage of the pattern it can be a better solution. Options are always good.

Since my daughter and son-in-law are hospital corpsmen, I thought this was a good pattern to have in my library.

For the pattern: optimization to best and draft to medium.

Is there anyway you can email the ptn file to me at edsingletary@bellsouth.net

I am having a time with the TapaTalk on my computer. I can't get it downloaded.

I went to the forum at CW and I see it there but I try to download and I get a terrible run around with passwords and user name. I enter it, but I am told it is wrong, knowing all the time it is right. So I give up.

Don t know why they don't have the TapaTalk for the computer, only shows for phone. At any rate I can't get it from my phone to the computer.

Pulling out grey hair with this, thank you for all your help.

Sent your way. Ignore the first email. The send button and the attachment button are right next to each other and my hand eye coordination is not what it should be.

Hello, Cant figure out how to start a new thread but does anyone know how to improve the cut on center line V carved text? I am getting very frustrating frays that need sanded down. The bits are fairly sharp and using a white pine.

    Thanks

Softwood and course grain hardwoods can tear out and fray much easier than fine grain hardwoods. a trick you can try is tape as a cover coat. Blue painter's tape seems to work well. The bit will get a bit of tape on it, but will clean off easy. Helps keep the sanding down a bit.

Being a retired Marine, I hold a very special place in my heart for Corpsmen - especially for those who carried the 8404 MOS. I owe my life to a friend I will always know as "Doc"! Sorry for getting off topic...
