Thread: DFX Import Problem

    Default DFX Import Problem

I'm looking for a little help. I just purchased the DFX importer. I created a dfx file in Inkscape. I imported it and set the line autoconnect to the finest setting. It did not complete the shapes. I still have disconnected vectors. I attempt to connect these lines by dragging the toggle points... but the software will not let me do it. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

From what I can find on the internet, Inkscape's DFX export converts some spline to polylines. I think that there are extensions that might help this. Still... I do not understand why I cannot grab nodes and connect them.

Sometimes, DXF files will come with 2 copies of the lines on top of each other. That's whats happening here. When I delete one "set" I am able to connect the two end points that go together. Happens in Corel sometimes.
