Default Need help getting thisa set properly

I am working on a pattern that has some notches located around the outside of a circle. I have drill holes just to the inside of each of the,. The drill holes are lined up food but the notches I am unable to get them to be consistent all the way around. Basically, i need the notches to line up with the drilled hole evenly around the entire project. The one I have done so far looks OK but is out of alignment. Some of the notches are deeper than others and some do not line up directly in from of the drill hole.

Does anyone have any idea how I can achieve this?

I used the pattern along trajectory to do the lay out. You can then place your circles/drill tool over the patterns. I had a similar request but used another software to that let me put a vector (circle) on a trajectory. He was making a ammo shell sorter.

Here is another way. Use the hexadecagon to align the holes. (You can use the snap grid to make it perfect.)

Thanks, I will give both of them a try. I will post my finished project if I can get it to work out on all parts.

This might help. The lines are 22.5 degrees apart

Here is what you can get by "snapping" the holes to the hexadecagons.
