Thread: Here is one I haven't seen before

  1. Default Here is one I haven't seen before

After 10 years and several thousand hours on 5 machines, I thought I was familiar with every problem the Carve wright might have. But I could use some help on this last one. The machine started having board sensor issues. Incorrect measurements then the "can't find board edge" issue. When I checked the board sensor (white paper test) it would read 156 to 159. Surprisingly, it would show 109 even after I removed the board sensor. I have never seen anything but 0 for a bad or missing sensor. This particular machine is a lower hour model A with the 907? Z upgrade.

If anyone has any advice on what the issue is, it would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Yes that is a new one. The only thing I can think of is to move/wiggle the ffc cable to see if the reading will change or the wiring for the sensor.
