    Default Understand importing

    Hello.

My first question. When importing the import screen and what I actually get on the wood (image) don't match. I made an image to explain.

Subscribe a region around it and give it a Carve Region to a depth that matches the depth of the pattern.

If there are non-carved areas in your pattern, then the uncarved material sticks through and creates peaks. So, we have to carve them away.

Easy way to do it, is to select the pattern and right-click, then select OUTLINE PATTERN. Make sure your carving list is displayed on left side of screen (View > Carving List)

Usually, the last outline path is of the full pattern. Select it and apply a Carve Region.
