    Default Windows 10 - Files Missing or Removed Fix

    Many customers have started getting a message on their Windows 10 computers saying that “The files required for this program have been moved or are missing.” This guide will walk you through installing Designer on to a Windows 10 computer and avoid getting this message. This will work with Designer Basic and Designer Pro (Designer 3) but all of the screenshot have been taken installing Designer Pro.

    I just got the message yesterday, have been on Windows 10 for quite a while with no problem. I also got a message that Windows had just installed updates. I did a restart assuming it was necessary for the Windows updates and after that everything worked ok with loading the Carvewright program.

    Yes, several of my programs had this issue. Windows 10 needs to be updated and installed.

    I have thisproblem when I had my windows 10 update. I reinstalled designer and it broughtback my carvewright program, but after I had reinstalled designer not all of myfiles or patterns would open. When I tried to open some of my patterns I gotthe message that they had been created by a newer version of designer and Ineeded to upgrade. Now these are patterns that I made myself from scratch withthe designer version that I had installed on my computer. Now when Ireinstalled designer I installed designer basic. There were only two versionsof designer to reinstall, designer basic and designer pro but the version ofdesigner that I had purchased was designer 2.0 and I can’t find any place thatlets me reinstall designer 2.0. I think this is the reason that I can’t opensome of my patterns. How do I reinstall version 2.0?

    2.0 longer available for purchase, LHR has discontinued it's sale. Being that you have a purchased it, LHR may be able to help you get yours back.
