    Selling my CarveWright system with 10 piece decorative bit set, 3 memory cards and reader, 1/16 and 1/8 cutting bits.

    Give us more detail like is it a B machine and some pic if you can it would help

    If the cable from the left cover switch is plugged into the circuit card 180 degrees out, you will get a open cover all the time. The white wire in the bunch should be toward the center of the machine.

    Also look at board sensor data and roller compressed an uncompressed. IF the board sensor wire is pinched it will take out the 5 volts and give you a open cover all the time.

    A quick check and solving the problem could increase the selling price.
