Thread: Will this layout work going through the machine

Default Will this layout work going through the machine

I have a client who installs Gym floors. I have been able to start getting some of their leftover flooring pieces and am going to do a sign for them. I have staggered the boards on the ends, keeping the first one the full length of the project.

My question is, will this work OK going through the CW? I am going to center the logo in the middle of the longest board, the first one, so there will be more then 6"-8" on each end so as to stay under the rollers.

Thanks in advance for you assistance,

No. Put in filler pieces and make it properly prepared material. Masking Tape may also be your friend.

Place them on a sled/carrier board and add filler pieces or tape over the voided areas.

Also remember you can only carve 1/4 inch deep before you hit your joint.Less if it is flooring from China.
