    Default Machine dead

Haven't used in awhile, probably 8 months been sitting in workshop. Went to use it and both sandpapers were split at the seam. Pulled out the sandpapers and thought I would see if machine would power up. Only get the symbols on screen, change with contrast button, but thats it. Question is are there switches on the traction rollers that may be open due to no sandpaper causing machine not to power up.
    Thanks

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.

Did you have the memory card inserted before you turned it on?

If you have access to a second card I would test it just to make sure. I had the same indications and it was the card. It works great on the computer (still does) and I can read and write to it but when I put in my machine nada.

I do have another card, I will try tomorrow. If no card was installed wouldn't still do something.

DO NOT put your card in or take it out when the power is on.

Thanks for all the info, you guys are great. It was a bad card. Computer recognized the card, pull stuff off or format it.
