    Apparently this didn't work I now have 2 machines with their original brains back in place and x stall and cut motor fails the user test on both machines............
    Anyone need two large door stops?

    I would inspect the X Termination Boards as the Cut Motor On Off goes through this board at Q1. And the X Drive goes through the same board...

    Look for burnt or loose parts and plugs.

    I will check them both, may have time tomorrow.
    Picked up a compucarve with 6hrs on it so I am back in business.
    will keep me carvin till I get another one working.

    Just not clear why swapping contolers would fry both boards when doner machine
    only had a slippy Y belt.
