  1. Exclamation Z Truck/Flex Shaft Hitting Machine Cover- Help

Brand new machine shipped directly from CW.

The Z truck is tucked 3/16" under the machine cover causing the flex shaft to hit the edge of the cover slot. I've seen photos of others and this seems to be out of the ordinary. Any ideas about making an adjustment to get the truck positioned in the center of the slot?

Is it just me or is the slot in the cover on an angle to the z truck rail?

Take a look at the rollers on the z truck and y carriage. If they are not tightened correctly, the truck could be tilted forward at the top. Make sure the rollers are all bolted square.

The head cover seems to be aligned from end to end based on the y axis tests and the head cranks up and down just fine.

Between the bearing and truck are not spacers, and are part of the bearings. The right side being adjustable to tighten bearings to the rails.

Is it hitting through the whole slot or more on one side or the other?

If the truck assembly was screwed down any tighter, it would hit the circular piece on the z track.
