    Default Upgrading basic to 3.0?

    Going to bite the bullet and finally upgrade, but question I already have
    * Pattern Editor (Probe)
    * Centerline
    * Conforming Vectors
    For the basic version.
    Will i need to purchase the addons again for 3.0?

    Download 3.0 trial and no of my previous purchase stuff shows up.

    Does the new software help doing inlays?

    It would depend on how you do your inlays and what kind of inlays. Epoxy fill, male female match, etc. There are many things you can do with the latest version of the software but nothing that I know of that is specific to inlays.

    The v-carve feature might help...

    Yes! The vector group feature in version 3 would certainly improve the appearance of an epoxy inlay as opposed to just assigning a bit to a depth.. The centerline add-on would also improve the appearance for text. However, I don't think these features could be used to create a matching male-female inlay. Not easily anyway.
