Thanks for the comments, this project has been a special one. All of the lithos that I have made in the pass are usually for a family member that has passed away. In this case , it is the brother of a friend and the ash wood was special to them since he was a woodworker and made bows.
I used a tung oil on the carving to give it a contras to the outside, then a high gloss finish over the hold project and it did come out well.
