    Default another pattern help request

I was given another picture in wood request and the attached is what it is. I get statement near the depth box in pattern editor
stating "pattern is too shallow". Is there anyway to set the depth of the hat on the young lady on the right. It seems too deep.
any attempt to get a better pattern would be deeply appreciated .This is not my thing.

Try using the raise/lower tool to adjust it a little bit.

Or use a photo editor to change the color on the hat to something lighter before you try and bring it in.

I played with it some. Can you scan the picture at a higher resolution?

Maybe you could ask the person for a better scan. Either a higher resolution scan or even a picture of the picture.

It's really a low quality photo, but that said, I played with it a bit. Lightened the hat and the other girls forehead, added a bit of gaussian blur, and in the last one removed the background. It could probably use some additional smoothing in pattern editor. If you can't get a better photo and you want me to play a bit more, just let me know. I know that others have much stronger skills in this area than I, but I'm willing to assist.

    Perry,

I played with it a bit. I can send the image to your email if you like either of these (I will fix the pointy thing on the hat first ):
5x7 or 8x10? the ratios are different
