My mother has asked me to make something like this for her upcoming birthday and I am still a bit of a noob with my carvewright machine. I have made some pretty cool things so far but nothing that has a round slope down and then add carving over that. I am hoping someone on here has done something like this before and can help me out. The top flat area would be basically the top of the board and then the secondary circle would slope from there to the bottom of the piece. Kind of like if you flip a plate upside down. Then put some carvings on this sloped area and maybe our family name. If you know how to do this, please help or maybe upload a file I can work off of and mess with. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

    Something like this?

On the left is the circles with sweep rounded and the right is the pattern from it.

Same here, but if he has Designer 3, I would have converted to 3 for better text options.

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.
