    Default 2 New plaques just finished

    Customer ask for plaques to fit on their podiums for the fire station.
    They wish to finish them themselves. Good quality of cypress, in the same 6' board
    the grain changed.

    Very nice plaques.Is cypress as hard as maple.Never played with that wood.

    These should be something they can make into something beautiful. Can only hope they do as great a job on the finish as you did on the design and carve.

    Cypress is very soft, projects with not much detail works well, I used the optimal speed and had to do a lot of sanding.
