    Default New projects-Necklaces

Been trying to use up some small pieces wood that's been laying around the shop. These are the first 5 I've done. Have several more in the works. Just need to find some small gold screw eyes before I can add chains.

Have you ever tried carving the tagua nut Sharon? It is supposed to be like ivory. (Nut of the ivory palm.) I have some but have not yet tried them. It seems to me like they could be awesome for jewelry.

    Google "tagua nut carving"

Nice work Sharon. But, then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Dan, no I haven't even seen a tagua nut. Will have to look it up. Always on the lookout for new things. Thanks everyone for the nice compliments.

Beautiful work, Sharon! (I have GOT to make some jewelry one of these days. Looks like FUN!)
