    Default gmnast PTN

Looking to make a medal holder for my niece and I want to make the top of it look like the picture I posted I need a ptn I just want the 3 gymnast not the beam or anything else I just want to make the shape of them as a cut out the top of my board will be the beam. I tried to just import the picture but when I outline it it outlines the whole carve region. Not just the girls so not sure how to do it.

You should be able to clean these up in the Pattern Editor

How is this? A dxf import could give smoother curves to cut cut.

Ok these would work perfect. My question now is when I add them to my board 11.25 I place them and I outline them make a cut path then delete the ptn. but how do I get the wood to cut between the girls so that it looks like the picture I posted. and makes it look like they are on the beam.

Would you not just make a rectangular carve region for the beam. Overlap the patterns a little and then outline them all at once.

well that sounded easy but I will be darn if I can get it to work. i am doing it on a 11.25 wide by 24 long board i want this on top and then enough of the board left so i can carve the word gymnast under it and then have enough room to put pegs on the bottom so she can hang her awards if that makes sense. so i am using as much of the board as i can.

Ok, how about this. I traced the girls and imported as dxf and chopped them up to make one curve. (the original imports are on the rear of the board.) (You could also make them bigger.)

This is perfect not sure if this is ready to carve or do I need to place this on a 11.25 by 24 board and then add in my text. when I click on it shows on carveright and it will let me add text but it doesn't show the whole board. so I'm not sure if I can just add my text and download to the card and carve or do I have to do something else.

It is on a 24 by 11.25 board. I have just hidden the cutouts. Select all, right click, and toggle the Hide Cutout.
