Multi-purpose sign
Follow up from earlier posts in the techniques thread. One full plank and a 3/4 width plank used to make this. Made a frame by ripping off 1 inch wide strips from 3/4 fascia board. Rounded over all edges with 3/4 router bit and then routed out a 5/16 wide by 1/2 inch deep channel in each. Glued the planks and the frame together by using Cyanoacrylate glue with spray activator.
Didn't take a pic of the back but I glued in 2 vertical strips to add support to the two horizontal frame pieces. Beauty of it all is it is 100% vinyl and I don't have to worry about paint issues.
