    Default Lights for the CW

I have an old fruit cellar that I use when I run my machine, mainly for noise reduction. I have a web cam watching the machine at all times.
I have just added another small strip of LED's to the keypad side so I could see the screen when I have it in the fruit cellar, it's kind of dark in there. I had originally added LED's inside the machine just behind the door where the hinges are but I still struggled seeing the display. Problem fixed.

Good one. That screen is hard to see.

I do not know if anyone remembers but Jeff Bert sells backlit LCD screens for the CW. I bought one years ago for my first machine and really like it.

Yeah I remember Jeff doing that. Gave it some thought but since I already had plenty of LED's and had already mounted them inside I just thought what the heck. Well I used it for the first time tonight when I was doing a carving and let me tell you what a difference it makes. BTW these LED's are the same ones that I use in my shadow boxes when I make a litho. eBay...by the reels.
