    Angry Keypad Issue

    ALL,

This is a new one for me....

Just cleaned the rails and the nuts due to crank down binding. Machine is reassembled, went to start a new project, and when the "Stay Under Rollers" pops up, I cannot get 1 or 2 to respond. I tested from the "home" bootup screen, no problem. Both function appropriately.

    Any ideas??

    Mike

Check both ends of the cable and connections that run to the inside of the keypad end panel. You may have to remove the end panel to check the connection at the bottom.

Sounds like it could be a software issue. Re-format and re-flash the card.

Do the down / up arrows and enter key work? (Workaround...not sure about keypad, unless not plugged in all of the way or tear in cable.)

Found the issue, it would seem the first 3 wires in the ribbon have torn. Back in shape tomorrow, after $10 for the cable, and $59 in overnight shipping, lol.....
