Thread: Dumb Question

    Default Dumb Question

I have Designer 3, with version 1.187 which says it's the latest. In reading one of the posts about jigs and two sided posts it talks about the changes in firmware 2.005. Is the firmware on the card reader? How do I find out whether I have the latest firmware? Guess it would be too complicated just to call the version number and the firmware number the same?

The firmware is saved to the flash card from designer. When you upload to the card the upload process checks what version is on the card and compares it to your software version. You should see the flash message on your computer screen "verifying firmware.

To see what version you have stored on the card, in designer go to "file - flash manger". In the pop up window there is a tab for firmware version. Click on it and the new window will tell what the current version is.
