    Steve,

Why did it come out so big? The geometry looks fairly simple so the size should have been really small.

I used the puffing tool for the arrow. The file size is just over 7 mb.

I changed the download to use the sweep tool instead of the puffing tool. Now the file size is much smaller.

How about something crazy? Still needs some adjustments though.

EDIT: I have to take the family to lunch. Be back in a couple of hours.

Here it is. It is a pretty simple design and, except for the vectors, built entirely in Designer 3. Each letter is placed individually so it can be changed. Overall dimensions are 9 inches wide by 10.1 inches tall.

    Sweep: Corner tool
Text Tool: Centerline, Times New Roman font

    Steve,
I can't thank you enough for the work, if you ever get over to Helen, GA look us up, (we own a little resort, Creekwood Resort) we are on the web. The sign is to be 36" tall can it be split?

Depending how wide you want the shaft of the arrow, you can't get much of a curve with a board 36" long and only 9.5" wide. However, drawing your own arrow is really simple. Especially if you have the 2D and 3D add-ons.

Draw a line or curve for the shaft
Copy and paste the curve and then move it up or down to the width of the shaft desired
Draw a rectangle at one end of the shaft overlapping and centered on the two curves (pic 1)
Insert a vertex at the midpoint of the rectangle on the side where you want the point.
Delete the other two vertices at the corners of the same line. (pic 2)
Trim and connect the vectors. I used the trim tool (pic 3). (2D add-on)

Using the Sweep: Corner tool, put a bevel on the edge of the completed arrow. (pic 4) (3D add-on)
Place each letter on the board individually and rotate if necessary
