    Default Ordering parts from Canada

Does anyone know of a Canadian supplier of parts for the carvewright? I just tried to order the AC motor cutoff switch. It is a tiny 5 dollar part but to get it I have to pay $45.00 shipping. That is just plain outrageous!

This is not a supplier in Canada but there are several users up there and some do have some spare parts. Keep checking back as they might post to let you know.

Take the switch to an electronics store, they might have one that will work!

I offered them to become a distributor here in Canada. Someone was suppose to call me but it never happened. 45$US for a 5$ part is beyond my comprehension. I live across the Massena border so I'm wondering if it would
be cheaper for me to pick up the part and send it to Canadian users. If Henry doesn't have it in stock.

I would have to charge for the bridge which is 6$, customs and shipping. Maybe something to consider if you're Canadian.

Try Sears. They have a lot of parts for the Compucarve which is what they called it when Sears sold it.

Sears in Canada and Sears in the States are different. Sears in Canada has no CW parts and Sears in the States does not ship to Canada. Tried that years ago!
