    Question A-10 Gatling Face

Ok, anyone have any ideas as to line up the 7 barrels every 51-52 degrees? Short of putting a protractor on my screen, I'm lost. Also, why can I not get my inner barrel bore deeper than the outer?

I'm making this for 30mm shot glasses. Hell of an idea??

If you have version 3, you can make a pattern for 1 barrel and put 7 of them in a circle. Shift them - indent - to get them positioned where you want them.

I cheated and imported the picture into blender 3d and then ported into CW. Not sure if this was what you were actually looking for but interesting. I eye balled the size of the carved barrels and they seem to be slightly larger than 30mm but might have to tweak.

Funny though. I was just looking for the size of the A10 barrel. A friend has some barrels he wants to display and asked me to make some holders for him so they don't scratch up his floors. Still in the design phase of that project.

That is a good idea. I wish I had thought of it before I went to the trouble of making all the angles.

    Flying,

Thank you. That helps. I want to carve an A10 on it but we'll see how good my model comes out.

    Default shot glass serving tray

Thanks guys for the discussion on the A-10 project. It got me to thinking how can I make this on my own from scratch and what fun it was.
I made a shot glass serving tray. I domed the middle, placed a fleur de lis in the middle, did a region on the back and added feet. I bet will go well at the shows for people to add their school logos, company logos etc. I'm going to try a couple on my sons and see how they like them.
attached is a picture of the cross sectional view to make sure I had enough wood in the right places, I made a correction, cause it was too thin on the edges.
