Hi all, fairly new to Carvewright and not sure of all the technical terms yet.
I was was carving a project overnight and when I got up the next morning it was stopped but not completed. It had an error message and the bit (still in z truck) was about 3 inches from the last correctly carved portion of the piece. The bit was all the way down stuck in the wood and making a terrible high pitch sound. I didn't have a chance to fix it then is I just turned the machine off and went to work. I did some research, stumbled across this forum and read some of the other suggestions. I cleaned it up and it looked like it was brand new (inside too). Tried a practice piece. Before it could start a practice project I noticed the bit was all the way down, like below the red belts, and it was making the awful high pitch noise again. Called customer service and said to go ahead and change to carve tight spindle. I did that this afternoon and the problem is still happening. Please help!?!? Keep in mind I don't understand a lot of the technical terms.
Thanks!
