My better-half decided she wanted a head board for our spare bed to match the pine bedroom furniture, so i came up with this. ( See pictures). I discovered some new techniques to carving as I exceed the memory card limits on the lower half of the design. I designed it to be on 2 pieces of 12" by 3/4" pine. Each plank 84" long. I have a couple of rollers I put at either end of the machine for long planks. As the lower panel couldn't be made as one carve I halved the design and carved it twice juggling the plank around between carves. The carve went well and after some cutting, glueing, sanding and varnishing, the project was approved to be used. That's George in the picture who helps me out in the garage(aka workshop) sometimes.

Cheers

Dave
