    Default New project just finished

The story of this project is I was asked to provide a base for what I call a Huey Helo Pistol grip. The gentleman flew 2 tours in Nam in 1967 and 1968, when he left he brought it home with him. He has since passed away. His wife as me at one of the craft shows if I could do something to hold it up. He also used it on this three wheel motorcycle, I had to adjust the base to except the key.
I used Resolve to create a mound to fit the grip.
attached are the pics of the top and bottom test carves and the final carve.
She is going to give it to her grandson.

What a great project. Thank you for sharing and on Armed Forces Day also (May 21, 2016. It is a day to celebrate, thanks to President Harry S. Truman. President Truman led the effort to establish a holiday in order for citizens to unite and to honor our military heroes for their patriotic service in support of the United States of America.)
