Steampunk Mayan Calendar Welcome sign

I haven't carved it yet but finished the pattern this morning. Yup. It's a steampunk Mayan calendar welcome sign. I left the outer most circle empty so you can include text. The one that I will carve will have my family name along with the welcome text.

Not sure if busy enough so may add some additional elements to it like more gears and shocks.

Regardless, I am super happy with it and wanted to show it off. It was modeled from scratch and a lot of fun to do (I did nerd out a bit...a lot).

Is this going to be a 2 piece carve so it is nice and big.

hmmm. I had not thought of that. I had planned to carve it at 14" but a 2 piece carve may be in order. thanks.

Either way it should be an awesome piece.
