Thread: Cabinet

    Default Cabinet

I needed a cabinet for the garage, and had been looking for some time on craigslist and used stores but found nothing suitable, so I built one. There was no real reason for me to match these existing laundry room cabinets, other than I like the style, and I could, so I did. The doors like the origional are one piece. I used MDF for the entire cabinet, carved the doors on the Carvewright, finished with two coats of shellac sealer and rattle can paint. The identical lizard handles were ridiculously easy to find using search. Those of us around before the internet can appreciate how hard that might have been back in the day.

Can you tell the difference between new and old?

Nice job, Dick. My garage/workshop needs the same kind of thing. Now if I can just borrow some of your enthusiasm...

    Wow,
Excellent reproduction. I could use cabinets in my shop ...........no empty wall space.
Anyway if i put things away behind doors I will never find them when I need them.
