    Default SeaHawks Logo Box

As my wife is a Seahawks fan, she asked if I could make her a box from the Seahawks logo for her birthday. The box I saw on the web was probably made with a bandsaw, but I decided I could use my Carvewright instead. I made a couple of mistakes on the way, but I'm still learning to use the machine and the software even though I have it for a very loooong time... I have posted a couple of pictures of the project and the final box. There are three draws that could hold small jewelry, but I think she wanted the logo. I made some small runners from old Aluminum tube to make sure they glided easier. The material is Mahogany, Cherry and Pine. I accidentally bought some Cheery wood to replace the Mahogany piece I made my mistake on. So I compounded my mistake! But the result looks OK and was greatly appreciated by the Seahawks Fan.
