    Default Need a little help with this Logo

    HI, Have an order to make an employees honors plaque and need this logo to carve nice.
    any help would be appreciated.

    Just the logo itself not the text underneath.......

    .ptr is a file type output by the Sculptor program. It imports into Designer Pro like a .prn.

    .ptr is to Sculptor as .prn is to Pattern Editor.

    Could I ask a favor....?

    Could you do a .ptn of the left one and remove the "since 1904 and the 2 partial lines above that...

    You cannot get the patterns into the PE since I created them. You could extract them to get them into your favorites but that is it. If I posted them as .png, then you could import them into PE as your own. Here is the last one as a .png. (Click to make it big and save as.)

    I have noticed that exporting a pattern as a png then importing again introduces subtle distortion, often stair stepping. As an example, here is a wedge that I created using the Extrude tool and drawing a diagonal line. The first picture is the wedge in Pattern Editor having been captured with the Make Pattern tool. The second is after exporting it as an image file (png) and then importing it.

    Is this because the exported image is only 8 bits? Windows tells me that 8 is the bit depth of the exported png.
