    Default Man Cave Bottle Opener

I think this post is kind of a special one as it is my 1000th. I have been saving this project for a bit to share when I hit this mark. I am nowhere near as schooled in the use of designer as many of the great folks here on the forum, so other than elementary stuff, I typically rely on the pattern depot, CNC Craze or other sites that offer patterns and projects for sale. I have been working with wood for over 30 years and since I retired a little over a month ago, it will soon become my "more than a hobby" . Anyway, I saw this bottle opener in a magazine article and it came with a paper pattern. I did my best to convert it using designer so I could share it. I am sorry that the mpc is in 3.xx, perhaps someone could convert it to 1.xx so all that are interested can use it. It has 4 holes in the back for magnets. two to attach it to a fridge and two to catch the bottle caps. It is all set to add the logo or saying of your choice. I hope some folks can find a good use for it. I did carve one and it carved just fine. This is a wonderful forum with great people and it makes the use of my CarveWrights even that much more valuable. I have a lot tied up in my shop, but I can't think of any of the tools I have had more fun with....

Thank you for the kind words, Dan. I don't blush often, but....

I only hope to be able to learn more and help as you and many others do so well....

Congratulations on your recent retirement and your 1000th post. Just got a request for a man cave sign. I will add the bottle opener to the project. I know my client will like it, thanks to your generous sharing!

Congratulations on the 1000th post. And that is a pretty slick project that could be adapted for many uses... Even with a picture of the EX and the caption.... "This is why I drink...".
