As always Oscar this came out great. I agree with the finishing process it is slow and boring and is my biggest weakness.

    Thank gents,

Mugs, they are inlays. They are all from the same board so really pleased with the color differences. Applying the oil is magic to me and always a surprise on what will be revealed.

Inlay seems to really bring a higher level to a work of art. I have to agree that this will most likely become a family heirloom.

Awesome, you're going to have to go some to beat this one.

Was out chasing deer around for the last few weeks and have not been hanging here during that time, but I do want to say wow to your clock. The finished product is amazing. Great work Oscar.

Thanks guys. I did come out nicer than I thought it would. That means I have to make one for me. Of course it will be dragons and vampires for mine. My wife has picked walnut and maple. Not 100% sure for this build but she is the boss.

Mugsowner, hopefully you were able to harvest at least one.

A little bit of progress. Sculpted my version of a Chinese dragon. I think I will use this one and the one on the pattern depot for my clock.
