Love the dragon, looks like a great start for your project. Wondering what else you're going to create for it.

I was going to use my dragon guard statue I have in the depot but it just did not fit with the feel of the dragon I made so went with a phoenix. If I can get some sleep I may try to carve them tomorrow.
I have to agree with your choice. The new dragon and the guard dragon don't seem to run together well. I can see a great use for your guard dragon with clocks. The style your building here, I would agree the new dragon and phoenix will work much better. Now the waiting begins, I'm sure that as in the past this is going to come out as a awesome design and build as well.
No harvests this year, but the work that is being put into the land seems to be paying off. Number of critters now using the land has greatly increased at this point.
Super happy with the patterns. Carved in maple in 3" x 8" panels. Tomorrow I'll cut the rest of the pieces and cut out the circle for the face.
Got the case carcass done. First coat of lacquer. Went a little heavy (have a few streaks and splotchy in areas) so will have to sand lightly and re-coat.
Looking super Oscar, your wife's wood color choices were on spot.
I am still not 100% sold on the wood choice but it is very classic. It will be a pretty clock when completed.
Looks great from my house! Just so you know, I haven't let my wife see the pics.

Rick,
Means you need to make one for your wife.
I just got a request for another copy. I think purple heart and maple for this one. She hasn't told me yet what theme she wants for the carvings yet.
These get out where they can be seen you may have to purchase the insert clocks in bulk.
