Norm, thanks. I'm working on the castle now so have to see which one fits better or I may have to make a new pattern.

This is what happens when you drink too much cucumber flavored little water.
Just finished the architectural fancy shell for my library and wanted to make a simple pattern to see how it would look but this is what developed. Not simple. lol.
It might not be simple Oscar but I like it..... all except the skulls. But then, maybe I should drink some of your cucumber water and the skulls would fit in just fine.
Sharon, good. I am pleased with the shell design.
The skull was a joke for the wife's sake. She hates it when I throw in random elements into a cohesive design and especially skulls. Sooo, I threw in a random skull.
Have a wonderful night.

excellent as usual. i haven't been able to do anything since i had a compound break to both bones in my wrist. 8 - 12 weeks in an external fixation device then therapy.
Dang! That sounds painful. Well wishes on a speedy and easy recovery.
I think I am finally going to try to make a clock...for real this time. I have the basic clock gear train but still have to figure out how I want to do the hands mechanism.
I am totally in love with the black walnut and mahogany combination. I am super pleased with the clock but I am a big failure. I failed to measure the clock movement shaft correctly and it was too short for the clock. I guess eye balling isn't as good as actually measuring something with an actual ruler. I am going to have to order another one.
lol. reason to build another clock that fits the movement correctly.

I really like the design of the clock case. You are getting quite good at making clocks, Oscar.

Every one has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film.
