Finally after almost a year finally finished this project. I am handing it off to my neighbors to finish the piece and to add their own door hardware. It was a thank you for all the assistance they have given me this last year. He also gave me enough wood to heat my home this coming winter from a tree he had to cut down.

Doors are raised panel doors with an oak tree carved on them with the CW. Solid oak and oak plywood. Its not pretty but its solid.

I was going to do some traditional stained glass but at this point I just wanted it out of my garage so did some Tiffany style stained glass instead. Still pretty but without all the sealing work.

Default Not CW but still weekend project

Thanks guys for all the comments on the cabinet. I wish it was just the builder being super critical on his own work but its not. I made some big errors on the piece. Its amazing how fast all the little techniques and work arounds you learn doing big furniture pieces are lost from the brain if you don't do them periodically. Its been a few years since I did a big furniture piece.

Freed up some space in my garage/shop so had to fill it up. Twenty 2x4s, 10 dollars in screws and 10 dollars in glue=new work table.

8 hours and under 80 dollars to do a new work bench. 3 coats of lacquer drying now. A garden swing on the to-do list next.

I have been really focused on learning 3d modeling and really haven't been doing a lot of patterns lately but I do have some draft patterns I need to test carve to put on the pattern store at some point. If anyone is interested I have a art portfolio at https://www.artstation.com/olg. Let me know if anyone has any art ideas I can work on.
