Definitely a keeper. Those of us on the forum making things know how much planning and detail go into the creation of a project like this.. As i told a family member when they asked to pay for something they wanted custom made ' We both know that if I charged you even minimal wage rate you'd change your mind' . You've created something that many will ask about but you can't afford to make and sell. That's the price of perfection.

Carved the twisted leather pattern and kind of made a parametric sculpture from it.

Unique, obviously not something found on the shelf. Nice work.

I was listening to some Metal whilst drinking some little water. My head and stomach tell me I over indulged but I am pretty happy with the modeling I was doing in the same period. Practicing and seeing what processes work in making these type of geometric shapes (Gothic windows). As you all know, I am more of a Kentucky windage than pulling out the measuring tape kind so these are a challenge for me. Setting up reference shapes is the key for me.

Really neat design, like how all the different designs fit & fill the design making the total pattern

Wow I like this. Takes me back. Up here in the north, back in the day , they would cut holes thru walls to allow heat from a space heater enter another room. To dress these holes out they would put decorative grills over the holes. This pattern as a cut out would look awesome. Up in the northern parts of the state you can still find these type grills still in use.

Thanks guys. It was a fun modeling session. Playing around shapes and how to make them.
