lockup with lettring

having trouble with lettering locking up .gets stuck when I go to put letters on board want to open after I put letters on board.goes back and can't get it to stop

Are you running a MAC? You need to turn off AppNap. It is a feature that puts your software in a snooze mode after sitting idle for a certain length of time. It is meant to save the battery life of your computer.

Right-click (or Mac equal) on Designer icon, go to GET INFO > select PREVENT APPNAP.

I would restart your computer... Since the Fonts come from your computer.... Just a WAG... Or try a different font just in case the font in your computer is not compatible... More info would be good....

Did you use the Run As Administrator command to register your software?

You may have created it on a computer that had different fonts in the Windows Font folder. Find the font (from other computer C://windows/fonts or download a free version of it from the internet - preferably TrueTypeFont (.ttf) and install it in the C://Windows/font folder on your new computer.
