    Default Help or Advice on making a Pattern from a Pic

    I want to turn this pic into a carving, I only need the design inside the plaque. I do not know enough about Inkscape and the computer I am using Inkscape on is taking forever, up to 10 minutes to render a picture. I am using the basic Designer and to import it onto the board is not giving me the results I want. Any help or advice is appreciated.
    p.s. I don't know why it appears rotated, it isn't that way in the folder. Sorry.
