I have tried to change a picture into a pattern, with not much luck. I don't have the pattern editor. Can someone help me please? Thanks Roy

You need to change the picture into a Grayscale image. The CarveWright unit "Z" truck works on the binary scale 000 to 255; 000 = transplant in the PNG format, 001 = Black, 255 = White. (Positive image). Black carves into the board, White to the top. Binary number 128 = the center of the grayscale. It is best to make a line drawing and use a mapping program to make your PTN file. I use a program called ShaderMap Pro to make the mapped grayscale image.

It takes about 10 seconds to make the grayscale image, once you have a good line drawing. BJB

I am going to have to leave this one to the experts. I tried but just cant get enough data from the picture to make a good pattern. Too grainy and too many shadows. I cleaned up the picture a little bit but not enough.

I'm not no expert...I'm what they would say is a practitioner...I put it the pattern editor and this is the best that I can do..

I do not want something for nothing. I'am willing to pay for a good pattern. I just hope one of them is on today. Thanks Roy
