can i show carve through the color skin

Hi I am trying to set the board skin to one color at .002 and the core in another color to .748. The concept is to be able to show the carving as the core color with the skin another. Is it possible?

This is a feature of Designer 2 or 3.

.002 is too small - I suspect it gets rounded to 0. Try .01 and.75.

I have designer 2. but it does not seem to be working. I set the skin to .002 and the core to .748. do i have to merge the carving to work?

Thanks guys, .002 was too small. I set to .01 and it works fine.
