Default Cut motor not starting on occasions

I am having a problem with the cut motor not starting on occasions. When I load a project and the bit the motor does not spin up before touching the bit plate then when it starts to carve the motor does not run breaking the bit, but if you load it again it will work fine. Any ideas?

The first suspect would be the right cover switch. Listen for when it clicks as you close the cover. If it does not click before the cover closes, it may be the problem.

I have had the cover switch make the clicking noise but still be bad, I bypassed it to check and everything worked great afterwards.

It could be a loose connection where the right safety switch wire connects to the motor wire.
