question on what software upgrades

I have to copy some door panels for a job i am doing. I am going to make a pattern and use the probe to copy them. I was wondering what additional software i would need to do it from scratch in designer. i am using the designer 2 upgrade.
The outside scallop trim will be done as a separate molding with my shaper, so it is the panel with the raised bubble and the cross that i would be carving.

I would say you need the 3D Advanced Tools. Here is a quick (over morning coffee) attempt to show what can be done.
