    Definite thumbs up. Nice head start on valentines day. Will post pic, not sure exactly how I think it will be finished. Would be awesome to be able to have it not 'on a board' but just the hearts hanging in air. Unfortunately looks way to fragile to be removed and I know if somehow could be removed from the board one bump would likely snap it.

    Nice. Can't wait to see how your carving comes out.

    A two wood species lamination project might be in order for myself. I'll have to see what I have lying around.

    Black walnut and some glued up scrap of white limba I had left over from the chess board project. Board is 11" x 9" and carved at .325" deep.

    Beautiful, trying to fit a carve in. Decided your idea of the laminate would give the best results, just need to make the board.
