Default New Light Source for Lithos

    Hi, all.......been awhile.

Working on a new litho, and needed a new light source. Been using florescent puck lights but they've been discontinued.

Just got 5 of these led pucks in the mail - at $9 each, they're a bargain!

Just to demo, attached is a litho that needed improvement so it's been sitting on a shelf. It's sitting approx. 3.5" ab9ve the leds.....I prefer 4" on a finished item.

    Hi Jerry,
Were you satisfied using the led puck light mentioned? Did you mount the light on the bottom or back of your box? Any reflective material used? I have been using mini christmas lights or puck lights from Lowes. The price is reasonable.

This one has a carveable space of 5.5x7. I like the light to be about 4" from the back of the litho.
I prefer to carve in 1/2" Corian. Light is put on the back....this light has a removeable base that works well.
