Thread: 2D Face into 3D???

    Default 2D Face into 3D???

Can someone help with this picture? A friend of mine father inlaw passed away a short time ago and I'm trying to make a carving out of this picture of him. This is the only one I could get my hands on. I'm trying to make more of his facial features pop from the carving rendering a more of a 3D look like his nose and cheeks and such. Not very handy with Photoshop or other software programs that one would probably use to do this.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks Zan! I was kinda hoping for more of 3Dish look to his face. His nose, cheeks and hair still are being carved low and not high.

Ok, but now you have to explain how you managed to raise those sunken regions without distorting the face.
